In Memory of Nathan Powell

On Friday, January 21, 2011, Temecula Valley Lacrosse Club regrets to inform everyone of the passing of our teammate, Nathan Lee Powell.  At a young age of twelve, Nathan played many sports but his passion of lacrosse was his favorite.  Nathan was truly an awesome player and was not afraid to challenge bigger opponents as he scored a goal.  Nathan will be missed by everyone on and off the field.

In lieu of flowers, the Powell family requests any donations be made to the Temecula Valley Lacrosse Club (TVLC) in honor of Nathan's name.  All donations will go towards player scholarships and much needed equipment as lacrosse grows in the valley.

Austin, Nathan's oldest brother and attends Bellarmine University in Kentucky, paid tribute to Nathan's memory by wearing the black "Play'n For Nathan" t-shirt during their game.
